SUBJECT:
Council Consideration of a Professional Services Agreement for Construction Management Services Associated with the 2016 Sanitary Sewer Main Replacement Project with HDR Engineering, in the Amount of $239,856.00 (1% Project).
BACKGROUND:

This contract will consist of project oversight and inspection services for the 2016 Sanitary Sewer Main Replacement Project.  This project consists of installing approximately 5040 LF of sanitary sewer main replacement in the following areas:

 

1.  The alley between Brooks Avenue and Emerson Avenue from 6th Street to 8th Street.

2.  The alley between 4J Road and Rockpile Avenue from 4th Street to 6th Street.

3.  Hog Eye Drive from Jack Plane Lane to Wagonhammer Lane.

4.  Juniper Lane from Wagonhammer Lane to S. Gillette Avenue.

5.  Redwood Street from S. Gillette Avenue to S. Emerson Avenue.

6.  Birch Street from Sunflower Park to Redwood Street.

7.  S. Hwy. 59 from Sioux Avenue to Sinclair Street.

8.  Shoshone Avenue from Clemence Avenue to Dakota Street.
ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET:
The cost for this construction management professional service contract is $239,856.00 which is 10.8% of the construction cost of $2,202,470.44.  The contract will be funded from the 1% Optional Sales Tax Fund 201-10-05-419-70-47420 which has $3,200,000.00 budgeted for this project.
