SUBJECT:
Council Consideration of a Professional Services Agreement for Construction Management Services Associated with the 2016 Water Main Replacement Project with Morrison-Maierle, in the Amount of $218,804.00 (1% Project).
BACKGROUND:

This contract will consist of project oversight and inspection services for the 2016 Water Main Replacement Project.  This project consists of installing approximately 4800 LF of water main within the following areas:

 

1.  W. Sunset Drive from N. Gillette Avenue to West End.

2.  E. Sunset Drive from N. Gillette Avenue to E. Laramie Street.

3.  W. Laramie from N. Gillette Avenue to West End.

4.  E. Laramie from N. Gillette Avenue to E. Sunset Drive.

5.  Lakeside Drive from E. Sunset Drive to 300' East.

 
ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET:
The cost for this construction management professional service contract is $218,804.00 which is 15.1% of the construction cost of $1,445,974.25.  The contract will be funded from the 1% Optional Sales Tax Fund #201-10-05-419-70-47410 which has $2,800,000.00 budgeted for this project.

I Move for the Approval of a Professional Services Agreement for Construction Management Services Associated with the 2016 Water Main Replacement Project with Morrison-Maierle, in the Amount of $218,804.00 (1% Project).
