| Council Consideration for the Issuance of a Microbrewery Permit to be Located at 106 S. Gillette Avenue, with the Operational Date Beginning April 1, 2017, Requested by Big Lost Meadery, LLC, d.b.a. Big Lost Meadery, and Contingent Upon Obtaining the Necessary Federal Basic Permit. |
| BACKGROUND: |
Sam Clikeman, Big Lost Meadery, LLC, is requesting a microbrewery permit. As with the winery permit, a Federal Basic Permit needs to be obtained. Mr. Clikeman is in the process of obtaining this permit and the approval for the microbrewery permit is contingent upon obtaining this permit.
Because the renewal of licenses and permits has passed for the upcoming licensing period, the operational date cannot begin until April 1, 2017. W.S. 12-4-412(b)(iii)(D) & (E) allows for the dual holding of a microbrewery permit and a winery permit.
The Wyoming Liquor Division has accepted the application and documents, and all corrections have been made. No protests have been received regarding the issuance of this microbrewery permit. |
