| Council Consideration of a Resolution by the City of Gillette to Raise Monthly Leased Parking Rates and Update Signage. |
| BACKGROUND: |
| During the February 28, 2017 Work Session, Council was advised as to the historic management of the various parking lots owned and maintained by the City of Gillette. Included in those discussions was rates previously set with regard to City owned lots; rates charged by the public sector for reserved parking spots, and the historic fines associated with unauthorized parking in leased spots. During that Work Session, Council agreed to increase the fees accordingly. The fees for each Lot will be increased as follows: Lot A (South Kendrick Ave. and East 2nd St.) $50/month; Lot B (South Kendrick Ave. and East 3rd St.) $60/month; Lot C (4th St. and Carey) $50/month; Lot D (South Kendrick Ave.) $40/month; Lot E (Warren and 2nd St.) $40/month; Lot F (West 1st St.) $40/month. Additionally, appropriate signage regarding the terms and conditions of the Lots will be updated to reflect these changes. |
