| Council Consideration of an Offer to Acquire a Parcel of Land from Northwest Distributing Co., Inc., for the Expansion of the Boxelder Right of Way in the Amount of $20,430.00. |
| BACKGROUND: |
| The City of Gillette had previously entered into negotiations with Northwest Distributing Co., Inc., to acquire approximately 2,724 square feet of land for purposes of a right-of-way along East Boxelder Road for the extension of that Road. [This is the property directly in front of the Taco John's/Good Times located on Boxelder.] The parties have agreed to complete this transaction at the rate of $7.50/foot for a total payment in the amount of $20,430.00. The transaction has been approved by Torrey W. Moody, President of Northwest Distributing Co., Inc. and is awaiting final approval by Council. |
