| Council Consideration of a Resolution Regarding the Utility Rates Charged to the Campbell County Senior Center. |
| BACKGROUND: |
| On May 1, 1984 the Gillette City Council took action to approve the application of the reduced utility rates charged certain Senior Citizens to the Campbell County Senior Center, as an entity. This discount has been in place and continued for the past 33 years. On March 14, 2017, Council requested staff to prepare a resolution to reverse the former action taken by the prior Council, and set an effective date of June 30, 2017 for the end of the discounted rate. This Resolution applies solely to the Campbell County Senior Center, as an entity, and does not otherwise alter any discounts which may be otherwise available to Senior Citizens within the City. |
