An Ordinance to Revise Rates for Wastewater Services Furnished by the City of Gillette.
BACKGROUND:

Ordinance 1st Reading - 7/0

Ordinance 2nd Reading - 7/0

 

An Ordinance has been prepared to raise wastewater rates to increase the revenue of the wastewater enterprise fund by approximately 6%.  The monthly service charge for a 1 inch or smaller meter will increase from $8.50 to $9.01 on May 1, 2017.  The monthly service charge for meters larger than 1 inch will increase from $42.75 to $45.32 on May 1, 2017.  In addition the volume based user service charge for Class I residential and Class II commercial rate customers will increase from $2.72 per thousand gallons to $2.88 per thousand gallons on May 1, 2017.
