| Council Consideration of a Resolution to Transfer Operation, Maintenance and Management of the Gillette City Pool from the Department of Public Works to the Utilities Department and the Water Services Division. |
| BACKGROUND: |
| Pursuant to Council's prior direction, a Resolution has been prepared to transfer the operation, maintenance and management of the City Pool from Public Works to the Utilities Department. For purposes of finance, the Resolution confirms that the financial responsibility of the City Pool is transferred from the General Fund to the Water Enterprise Fund; that no funds from the May 3, 2011 Special Election (Cap Tax) may be used with regard to operation, maintenance or management of the City Pool; and granting authority to the Finance Director to establish a financial policy in the event a fee is charged for the City Pool at a later date. |
