GMS Committee is requesting a street closure for August 19th, from 6:00 a.m. to midnight. The closure will be on Gillette Avenue between 1st Street and 5th Street including the 3rd Street Plaza for the Eclipse Festival 2017 event.
The Committee has requested that the traffic light at the intersection of Gillette Avenue and 2nd Street be turned into a flashing red light. The Engineering staff advised that the Committee contact Josh Jundt. According to Jessica Seders, WYDOT will turn the light to a flashing red light Saturday morning and to regular lights on Sunday morning. The Committee has also requested 12 picnic tables that staff will deliver on that day.
All businesses that are open on this day have been notified and have signed the closure notification form. |
