The Madison Street Extension, Phase II project, designed by PCA Engineering, Inc., includes the installation of a new street section from the west end of the existing Madison Street (end of Madison Street Extension) to Mitchell Avenue with associated grading. This project will finish the connection of the street system between Wyoming Avenue and Mitchell Avenue.

Bids were received at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 for the above referenced

project at the City Purchasing Division, Central Warehouse, 800 N. Burma Avenue, Gillette, Wyoming.

Three (3) bids were received:

DRM, Inc.                        $150,912.50
Simon Contractors          $177,942.00
S&S Builders                   $162,160.00

The bids have been reviewed by PCA Engineering, Inc. and they have determined that DRM, Inc. is the lowest qualified bidder. The contract requires the work to be substantially complete within 30 days from the start of the contract work and ready for final payment in 35 days.

The Engineer's Estimate prepared by PCA Engineering, Inc. for the Madison Street Extension, Phase II project was in the amount of $135,908.82. Funding for this project ($155,500) has been allocated from the 1% Optional Tax Account #201-10-05-419-70-47402.
