| Council Consideration of Amendment No. 1 to the Project Agreement for the Gillette Regional Extensions - Phase II Project with the State of Wyoming Water Development Commission (WWDC), to Increase Funding for the Project to $2,237,800.00, or Sixty-Seven Percent (67%) of the Actual Development Costs, Whichever is Less. |
| BACKGROUND: |
| The Phase II Project will serve three additional districts to the west of Gillette along Force Road: Eight Mile Improvement Service District (ISD), Stone Gate Estates ISD, and Rock Road ISD. Funding under the original agreement ($562,800.00 in grant funding) is being used for the design and right-of-way acquisition for these new connections to the regional system. This amendment provides the funding for construction of these three new connections. Currently, the Eight Mile and Stone Gate projects are under design by HDR and DOWL, respectively. The Rock Road connection will be made at the existing Gillette West Pump Station by providing the necessary equipment to be installed by City staff. |
| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
| The grant funding for this project will increase to $2,237,800.00, or 67% of the total project cost. The remaining 33% will by paid for by CAP Tax revenue.
