During the May 16, 2017 Pre-Meeting, Council determined that the fines associated with overtime parking should be increased.  Currently, the fines are $2.00 for overtime parking, and $5.00 for "extended overtime" parking for each successive 30 minute period thereafter.  If the outstanding ticket is not paid within twenty-four (24) hours of its issuance, an additional fine of $10.00 may be assessed upon conviction. 

The proposed Ordinance increases these rates to $15.00 for overtime parking, and $5.00 for "extended overtime" parking for each successive 30 minute period thereafter.  If the outstanding ticket is not paid within twenty-four (24) hours of its issuance, an additional fine of $10.00 may be assessed upon conviction.

July 18, 2017, Ordinance was amended to change the rate from $15.00 to $7.00.
