This project, within the 4-J Subdivision, is to perform design, surveying, geotechnical services and bidding needed to perform pavement rehabilitation for Wagonhammer Lane from Boxelder Road to Redwood Street, Gillette Avenue from Boxelder Road to Redwood Street, Laurel Street from Gillette Avenue to Emerson Avenue and Timothy Street from Wagonhammer Lane to Emerson Avenue, along with the reconstruction of Timothy Court from Wagonhammer Lane west and Emerson Avenue from Walnut Street to Sequoia Drive. Major work on these streets was last performed in the 1980’s and 90’s although South Emerson has never been rehabilitated since initial construction. Construction for this project is scheduled to take place in 2018.

The City’s 1% budget has $1,400,000.00 set aside for this project including $200,000.00 for Design and Construction Management. This contract will use approximately half of the budgeted funds in the Engineering portion.

I move for Approval of a Professional Service Agreement for Design and Bidding Services Associated with the 2018 Pavement Management System Schedule B Project, with KLJ, Inc., in the Amount of $100,500.00 (1% Project).
