The Donkey Creek Festival Improvements Project consisted of enhancing the usability and safety for the Annual Donkey Creek Festival held at the Gillette College. The project included the addition of tiered modular block seat walls and new electrical for stage, vendor and sound booth areas.  The project included a new concrete stage pad, tent pivot points, and ramp walkway.  The existing landscaping and irrigation was  modified to accommodate the amenities.  The project also repaired two (2) drainage areas by installing new culvert piping and grading the areas to properly drain.

The funding for this project has been allocated from the 1% Optional Sales Tax Account 201-10-05-419-90-49010 (General Community) in the amount of $130,000.

The original construction contract price was in the amount of $85,631.94.

There was a total of one (1) change order on the project with a net increase in the amount of $12,529.13. 

Change Order #1 - Increased the size of the stage pad, added a 40' x 50' Gravel Vendor Pad, a metal rack for the power assembly and added two (2) new Pivot Points on the Stage Pad for the Smaller Arabesque Tent that Gillette College Owns.  Change Order #1 increased the total construction contract price to $98,161.07.

With the inclusion of any additional or subsidiary project expenses, it is estimated that the project will have an excess remaining balance of approximately $27,000.
