| Council Consideration of a Professional Services Agreement for Design and Bidding Services Associated with the 2018 Water Main Replacement Project, with HDR Engineering, Inc., in the Amount of $226,521.00 (1% Project). |
| BACKGROUND: |
This contract will consist of design and bidding services to complete the 2018 Water Main Replacement Project. The areas that have been identified and prioritized for this water main replacement are as follows:
1. Water main in 2nd Street (Hwy 14-16) from Butler Spaeth to Gurley Avenue.
2. Water main in Gurley Avenue from 2nd Street (Hwy 14-16) to East Lincoln Street.
3. Water main in 4th Street from Gurley Avenue to Stanley Avenue. |
| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
| The cost for this Design and Bidding Professional Service Contract is $226,521.00 which is 8.9% of the estimated construction cost of $2,536,640.00 for the 2018 Water Main Replacement Project. The contract will be funded from the 1% Optional Sales Tax Fund Account #201-10-05-419-70-47410 which has $3,600,000.00 budgeted for this project. |
