SUBJECT:
Council Consideration for the Acceptance of Development Improvements for the Big Horn Tire Fire Hydrant Extension Project, Installed by DRM, Inc., on Behalf of the Developer, John Crump.
BACKGROUND:

This project installed water system improvements to support the construction of an outbuilding for Big Horn Tire, located south of Westover Road just east of Skyline Drive. This building was constructed in the County but required fire suppression flows; a new fire hydrant lateral was installed to provide the required fire flows for the new building. The City will be accepting for ownership and maintenance, the following improvements:

Water System Improvements

- approximately 288 LF of 8" PVC water main and appurtenances;

- approximately 8 LF of 6" PVC water main and appurtenance;

- one fire hydrant assembly and appurtenances
