Jeremy Dowdy was nominated by his peers for his outstanding commitment to the City of Gillette, and was chosen based on his ability to exemplify the City's core values: Productivity, Responsibility, Integrity, Dedication, and Enthusiasm.

Jeremy investigated a homicide incident in which a 22-year-old male was a suspect in the death of a 3-year-old child. During the month's long investigation, Detective Dowdy represented all elements of the P.R.I.D.E. mission and contributed to the recent conviction of the 22-year-old male.
