| Council Consideration of a Bid Award for Two (2) New 2018 3/4 Ton Extended Cab Long Bed Pickup Trucks to Greiner Motor Company of Casper, Wyoming, in the Amount of $58,800.00. |
| BACKGROUND: |
| These are replacements under Projects 18VM01 and 18VM10 respectively for Units 72 and 36. Unit 72 is a 2002 Chevrolet ¾ ton pickup used by our Parks Division. Unit 36 is a 2003 Chevrolet ¾ ton pickup used by our Wastewater Division. Greiner Motor Company of Casper, Wyoming, was the lowest bidder meeting the required specifications. See the bid tabulation on the attached memorandum. |
| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
| These replacement units were approved in the budget for $77,509. The remaining funds, $18,709.00, will be used to up fit the vehicles with service bodies, appropriate lighting, City of Gillette signage, etc. |
| SUGGESTED MOTION: |
| I move for approval to award the bid for Two (2) New 2018 3/4 Ton Extended Cab Long Bed Pickup Trucks to Greiner Motor Company of Casper, Wyoming, in the Amount of $58,800.00. |
