| An Ordinance Amending Section 5-I-6 of the Gillette City Code to Amend and Adopt the 2017 Edition of the National Electric Code and to Clarify the Adoption of all Future Updated Versions of the Same. |
| BACKGROUND: |
| Chapter 5 of the Gillette City Code involves the adoption of the International Building Codes. The State of Wyoming has adopted the 2017 Edition of the National Electrical Code, which requires the City of Gillette to likewise adopt the newest version of the Code effective January 1, 2018. The proposed Ordinance amends Section 5-I-6 of the Gillette City Code to amend and adopt the 2017 Edition of the National Electrical Code and to adopt all future revisions to the Code. |
