According to the MOU, Gillette Main Street is required to seek Council's approval for any regular events. The aforementioned are upcoming events the GMS will be conducting for 2018. The Committee will still be required, prior to each event, to fill out the appropriate Street Closure Application, providing all applicable information for staff. This information is used by staff for the distribution of trash receptacles, electrical outlets, barricades, etc. Also, if alcohol/malt beverages are included in the event, the applicable permit will need to be obtained by the appropriate person or liquor license holder.
There is one more closure for the 82718 Zip Code Community Dinner event, however, the Committee did not have a concrete date at the time of this consideration. Therefore, this event will require approval at a later date. |
