| Council Consideration of a Professional Services Agreement for Construction Management Associated with the 2018 Alley Pavement Management System Project, with PCA Engineering Inc., in the Amount of $41,848.00 (1% Project). |
| BACKGROUND: |
| The Alley PMS 2018 Project includes the rehabilitation of the alley surface and related infrastructure in the alley south of West 10th Street, between Stocktrail Avenue and Rohan Avenue. This project will include the removal of the existing alley surface and replacement with a concrete surface. The project will also include the installation of approximately 400 feet of new sanitary sewer line, 200 feet of replacement water line, one water service, and a new fire hydrant. |
| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
The funding for this project has been allocated from the Optional 1% Sales Tax Account 201-10-05-419-40-44331. The construction contract was recently awarded to Hot Iron in the amount of $334,644.58.
The contract price for Construction Management Services for the 2018 Alley Pavement Management System Project is $41,848.00. This equates to 12.5% of the construction contract cost, or approximately $1046.20 per day based on the anticipated construction schedule. |
