| Council Consideration to Authorize the Mayor to Sign a Telecommunications Raceway Lease Agreement Between the City of Gillette and Visionary Communications, Inc. |
| BACKGROUND: |
| The Agreement will allow Visionary Communications, Inc. to lease fiber optic raceway in the City of Gillette's multi-raceway fiber optic backhaul in order to install fiber optic cable owned by Visionary to build out to their customers. |
| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
| Revenue received from this Raceway Lease Agreement shall be deposited in the City's Fiber Fund No. 506. The estimated annual raceway lease revenue will be $2,474.55 for the initial year and will increase by 3% each year for the remaining term of this 5-year agreement. |
