SUBJECT:
Council Consideration of a Professional Services Agreement for Construction Management Services Associated with the 2018 Water Main Replacement Project with HDR Engineering, in the Amount of $153,584.00 (1% Project).
BACKGROUND:

This contract will consist of project oversight and inspection services for the 2018 Water Main Replacement Project.  This project consists of installing approximately 4200 LF of water main replacement in the following areas:

1.  Hwy 14-16 from Butler-Spaeth Road to Gurley Avenue.

2.  Crossing of Hwy 14-16 and BNSF ROW at Gurley Avenue under the Gurley Bridge.

3.  4th Street from Stanley Avenue to Gurley Avenue.
ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET:
The cost for this construction management professional service contract is $153,584.00 which is 11.8% of the construction cost of $1,294,693.00.  The contract will be funded from the 1% Optional Sales Tax Fund #201-10-05-419-70-47410 which has $3,600,000.00 budgeted for this project.
