| Council Consideration of a Professional Services Agreement for Design, Bidding, and Construction Management Associated with the 4-J Pathway Repairs Project, with Inberg-Miller Engineers, in the Amount of $19,920.00 (1% Project). |
| BACKGROUND: |
| This contract will consist of design, bidding, and construction management services to complete the 4-J Pathway Repairs Project. The area for the 4-J pathway repairs is the pathway on the East side of 4-J Road from Public Health's South parking lot to W. Walnut Street (see attached map). |
| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
| The cost for this Design, Bidding, and Construction Management Professional Service Contract is $19,920.00, which is 15.9% of the estimated construction cost of $125,000.00 for the 4-J Pathway Repairs Project. We typically see in the range of 20% to 25% for design, bidding, and construction management services as a percentage of construction cost. This contract percentage of construction cost is below that typical percentage number. The contract will be funded from the 1% Optional Sales Tax Account #201-10-05-419-40-44332 which has $125,000.00 budgeted for this project. |
