| Council Consideration of a Parade Permit on 2nd Street Between Burma Road and Osborne Avenue, on Wednesday, July 4th, Requested by Campbell County Parks & Recreation, for the 4th of July Parade. |
| BACKGROUND: |
Darla Cotton with CC Parks & Rec, is requesting a parade permit for the 4th of July parade. The route is the same as in past years. The staging area will be at the ice arena between 1st St and 2nd St. The procession will then travel west on 1st St to Burma Rd, south on Burma to 2nd St, and then east on 2nd St to Osborne Ave where the procession will exit back onto 1st St and travel west on 1st St to disperse. CC Parks & Rec is requesting that streets are blocked between 1st St and 2nd St beginning at 7:00 a.m. on the parade route. The parade is expected to end between noon and 1:00 p.m. |
