| Council Consideration of a Bid Award for One (1) New 2018 5-6 Ton Long Arm Excavator, Attachments and Trailer to Bobcat of Gillette, Wyoming, in the Amount of $79,876.00. |
| BACKGROUND: |
| This is a replacement for Unit 56, 2001 Caterpillar 420 backhoe from our Vehicle Maintenance Division. Bobcat of Gillette was the low bid, and the only bidder meeting the required specifications. See the bid tabulation on the attached memorandum. |
| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
| This replacement was approved in the budget for $135,510. The actual cost came in at $79,876. The remaining funds will be used to up fit the unit with appropriate lighting, City of Gillette signage, etc. |
| SUGGESTED MOTION: |
| I move for approval to award bid for One (1) New 2018 5-6 Ton Long Arm Excavator, Attachments and Trailer to Bobcat of Gillette, Wyoming in the amount of $79,876.00. |
