The Winland Industrial Park Water & Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation (16EN41) project includes replacing approximately 1000 LF of 8-inch sanitary sewer main between five different locations, the installation of approximately 550 LF of new 12-inch water main and installing additional fire hydrants. Two City water system connection points will also be completed to increase the fire flow for fire protection and the replacement of 500 LF of sanitary sewer service lines and replacement of 6 existing sanitary sewer manholes.
This area is currently on a master water meter. This project will install individual water meters to each landowner.
There will be a section of pavement replacement and areas of pavement repair.
Bids were opened on August 1, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the office of the City Purchasing Division, Central Warehouse, 800 N. Burma Avenue, Gillette, Wyoming.
Two (2) bids were received:
Hot Iron, Inc. $916,345.22
DRM, Inc. $1,064,441.25
Engineer's Estimate $782,052.00
The project was designed by DOWL. Bernie Straetker, E.I., Project Engineer, reviewed the bids and determined that Hot Iron, Inc. is the low responsible bidder. The work will be substantially complete in 35 working days after the Contract Time commences to run and ready for final payment ten (10) working days after the date of the Certificate of Substantial Completion. |
