| Council Consideration of a Professional Services Agreement for Design and Bidding Services Associated with the PMS 2019 Project, with PCA Engineering, in the Amount of $189,982.00 (1% Project). |
| BACKGROUND: |
The PMS 2019 Project will include the reconstruction of Gurley Avenue north of Kluver Road to the north corporate limits, Kluver Road from Boysencreek Drive to Garner Lake Road, and 5th Street from South Emerson Avenue to South Highway 59. Gurley Avenue and Kluver Road are both rural section roads while 5th Street is an urban curb and gutter local through street. Kluver Road is the City's responsibility through the Shared Roads Agreement with the County.
PCA Engineering will provide surveying, geotechnical exploration, engineering design, and bidding services. |
| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
The fees for the Design and Bidding Services of the PMS 2019 Project will be $189,982.00. These fees are approximately 6½% of the estimated construction cost of $2.85 million.
The project will be funded by the 1% Optional Sales Tax Account 201-10-05-419-40-44331. |
