Council Consideration of a Memorandum of Understanding for a Multijurisdictional Small Government Enterprise Geographic Information Systems License Agreement.
BACKGROUND:

The Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) Small Municipal and County Government Enterprise License Agreement (ELA) is a three-year agreement that will grant the City of Gillette access to ESRI® term license software on an unlimited basis, including maintenance on all software offered through the ELA for the term of the agreement.

Campbell County, the City of Gillette, and the Town of Wright will combine and receive a significantly lower cost subscription from ESRI for licensed software, maintenance and support with the Multijurisdiction Small Government Enterprise License Agreement.

The percentage each entity will be paying was decided several years ago based on usage/population per entity. Campbell County will be responsible for 56.9%, the City of Gillette 40.25%, and the Town of Wright 2.85%.
