| Council Consideration of a Bid Award for Two (2) New 2019 – 3/4 Ton 4WD Extended Cab Long Bed Pickups to Fremont Motors of Lander, Wyoming, in the Amount of $58,362.00. |
| BACKGROUND: |
| These are replacements for Unit 119 in our Water Division, under project number 19VM02 within account #604-30-37-419-70-47610 and one additional unit allowed for through CIP under Project number 19VM16 in account #50170-76-440-70-47610. This truck will be used by our SCADA Division. |
| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
| The difference in budget amounts is due to the CIP request written as a 1 Ton at $55,000. Discussions with SCADA personnel indicated that a ¾ ton pickup was sufficient for their needs. For this reason the SCADA unit was bundled with another ¾ ton scheduled to be replaced to leverage a better bid. The remaining funds will be used to up fit the vehicles with necessary equipment, appropriate lighting, City of Gillette signage, etc. |

| I move for approval to award the bid for Two (2) NEW 2019 – 3/4 TON 4WD Extended Cab Long Bed Pickups to Fremont Motors of Lander, Wyoming, in the Amount of $58,362.00. |
