SUBJECT:
Council Consideration of a Professional Services Agreement for Design and Bidding Services Associated with the 2019 Water Main Replacement Project, with Kadrmas, Lee & Jackson, Inc., in the Amount of $223,000.00 (1% Project).
BACKGROUND:

This contract will consist of design and bidding services to complete the 2019 Water Main Replacement Project.  The areas that have been identified and prioritized for this water main replacement are as follows:

1.  Water main in 10th Street from Rohan Avenue to 4J Road.

2.  Water main in 11th Street from Richards Avenue to Dalbey Avenue.

3.  Water main in 11th Street from 4J Road to west end of Cul-de-sac.

4.  Water main in Dalbey Avenue from 10th Street to 12th Street.

5.  Water main in Hog Eye Drive from Turkey Track Lane to Wagonhammer Lane.

6.  Water main in 8th Street from Stocktrail Avenue to Tyler Avenue.

7.  Water main in Tyler Avenue from 8th Street to 6th Street.

8.  Water main in Frontier Drive from Lodahl Avenue to Cascade Drive.
ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET:
The cost for this Design and Bidding Professional Service Contract is $223,000.00 which is 9.3% of the estimated construction cost of $2,400,000.00 for the 2019 Water Main Replacement Project.  The contract will be funded from the 1% Optional Sales Tax Fund Account #201-10-05-419-70-47410 which has $3,400,000.00 budgeted for this project.
SUGGESTED MOTION:
I move for Approval of a Professional Services Agreement for Design and Bidding Services Associated with the 2019 Water Main Replacement Project, with Kadrmas, Lee & Jackson, Inc., in the Amount of $223,000.00 (1% Project).
