| Council Consideration to Authorize the Mayor to Sign a Software License Agreement with Partner Software, Inc., in the Amount of $65,000.00. |
| BACKGROUND: |
The Partner Software to be purchased will be utilized by the Electrical Services and Electrical Engineering divisions. The software will allow mapping updates to take place automatically for the line crew and will also have an outage trace function to assist the line crew to help identify and restore power more efficiently in the event of an outage. The software will also include a staking package to be utilized by the Electrical Engineering division to put together electrical designs in the field.
The initial cost of the software is $65,000. There is an annual license fee of $14,000 for subsequent years. |
| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
| This software package was included and approved as part of the 2018/19 CIP budget for Electrical Services and Electrical Engineering. The total approved budget amount for this software purchase is $69,000. |
