| Council Consideration of a Professional Services Agreement for Design and Bidding Services Associated with the Water Tank Rehabilitation Z1-R2 Project with Morrison-Maierle, in the Amount of $62,450.00 (1% Project). |
| BACKGROUND: |
| This contract will consist of design and bidding services to rehabilitate the tank coating system on the Z1-R2 Tank. During the last tank inspection it was discovered that the Z1-R2 Tank had many failures of the tank coating system on the interior of the tank which will require re-coating of the tank. Services shall include preliminary coating design, final coating design, and bidding services for the project. |
| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
| The cost for this Design and Bidding Professional Services Agreement is $62,450.00 which is 9.8% of the estimated construction cost of $640,000.00 for the Water Tank Rehabilitation Z1-R2 project. The contract will be funded from the 1% Optional Sales Tax Fund account 201-10-05-419-70-47413 which has a budgeted amount of $900,000.00. |
