Council Consideration for the Issuance of Street Closure Permits for the 2019 Gillette Main Street Events on Gillette Avenue and the Third Street Plaza for the Following Dates: July 20th for the Brewfest that will Include a Malt Beverage Permit; August 17th for the Summer Festival & Car Show that will Include an Open Container Permit; October 26th for Boo Fest; and December 7th for the Downtown Holiday Ice Festival that will Include an Open Container Permit and Parade, Requested by the Gillette Main Street Committee. |
BACKGROUND: |
GMS is required to seek Council's approval for street closures of Gillette Avenue and the 3rd Street Plaza for their upcoming events each year in January. To ensure a smoother process, GMS was required to provide completed street closure applications, along with any applicable open container permit application and/or malt beverage permit application that may be required for their event. |
