SUBJECT:
Council Consideration to Authorize the Mayor to Sign Amendment No. 1 to the Telecommunications Right of Way Use Agreement Between the City of Gillette and Visionary Communications, Inc.
BACKGROUND:
Enclosed is Amendment No. 1 to the original Telecommunications Right of Way Agreement.  The original Agreement was executed on September 18, 2017.  Amendment No. 1 will allow Visionary Communications, Inc. additional use of the public right of way for the installation of conduit to maintain a fiber optic communications system.
ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET:

Revenue received from this Right of Way Lease Amendment No. 1 shall be deposited in the City's Fiber Fund No. 506.

 

Anticipated revenue associated with Amendment No. 1 is summarized as follows:

 

1st Year Project Management Fees . . . $ 9.278.08 (one time payment)

Annual ROW Lease Fees . . . $ 1,420.56 (per year)
