| Council Consideration for the Acceptance of Public Improvements for the Stonepile Drainage Repair Project, Installed by GW Construction, in the Amount of $101,572.16 (1% Project). |
| BACKGROUND: |
The initial scoping of the Stonepile Drainage Repairs included the replacement of two sections of damaged low flow concrete channel in the Stonepile Drainage. Approximately 242 feet of low flow channel was scheduled for replacement.
GW Construction provided a very competitive bid, allowing for substantially more channel to be added to the project. An additional 140 lineal feet, and associated work was added to the scope.
GW Construction completed the original scope of work and the added work within the original time allotted for the project. |
| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
The project was awarded in the amount of $76,067.42. With the addition of 140 feet of channel, a change order in the amount of $35,230.66 was approved bringing the final cost of the project to $101,572,16.
The project was funded through the 1% Optional Sales Tax Account 201-10-005-419-70-47405. |
