Council Consideration to Authorize the Mayor to Sign a Telecommunications Right of Way Use Agreement Between the City of Gillette and Advanced Communications Technology, Inc.
BACKGROUND:
Enclosed is a Telecommunications Right of Way Use Agreement which will allow Advanced Communications Technology, Inc. use of the public right of way for the installation of conduit to maintain a fiber optic communications system.
ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET:

Revenue received from this Right of Way Use Agreement shall be deposited in the City's Fiber Fund No. 506.

Per the terms of this agreement, Advanced Communications Technology, Inc. will pay an annual $0.12 per foot fee for each foot of City right of way encumbered. 

Upon execution of this Agreement, the estimated annual lease revenue will increase by $260.00.
