FEMA Region VIII has completed its review of the Wyoming Region 1 Hazard Mitigation Plan and has determined that it meets the requirements established by Title 44 CFR §201.6, pending its adoption. FEMA will deliver the approval letter upon receipt of adoption resolutions from Campbell, Crook, Johnson, Sheridan and Weston Counties; the Cities of Gillette, Moorcroft, Sundance, Buffalo, and Newcastle; and the Towns of Wright, Hulett, Pine Haven, Kaycee, Clearmont, Dayton, Ranchester, and Upton; and the Campbell County Conservation District.

Adoption of the plan makes the City of Gillette eligible for Mitigation Grant Funds from the Federal Government.
