| Council Consideration for the Acceptance of Public Improvements for the Buckskin Improvement & Service District (I&SD) Water Connection, Installed by DRM, Inc., in the Amount of $82,602.94. |
| BACKGROUND: |
| The Buckskin I&SD, located northeast of the intersection of North Gurley Avenue and Kluver Road, experienced a complete well failure in May, 2018. This project provides a new permanent connection to the Gillette Regional Water Supply Project (GRWSP) for the Buckskin I&SD. This project included the installation of a new vault, 6" pipeline, and other appurtenances necessary to provide the new service. |
| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
The original contract amount for this project was $80,593.90. There was one change order for a net added cost to the project of $2,009.04 (2.5% increase). This change order included a revised fitting for the connection point, a tie in to Buckskin's pump station, a 2' fire hydrant extension, and final quantity adjustments.
This project is not eligible for reimbursement from the WWDC and therefore was paid for with CAP Tax.
