| Council Consideration for the Acceptance of Public Improvements for the Gillette Police Department Dispatch Remodel Project, Installed by Hladky Construction, Inc., in the Amount of $68,991.07. |
| BACKGROUND: |
The Gillette Police Dispatch Remodel Project (18EN24) included the remodel of the dispatch area of the Gillette Police Department at City Hall. The remodel included new cabinetry to provide individual secure lockers, individual control of lighting at the three dispatch stations, ceiling tiles, flooring, and handicap access for the kitchen area.
The Project was design and managed by Schutz Foss Architects, P.C. The project was completed within the 45 working days allowed by the contract. |
| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
The original award project cost was $54,546.00. There were two change orders for a total addition of $14,445.07 to the contract amount. The change orders covered modifications to electrical conduit that included an addition of a knee wall, modifications to the ceiling tiles, additional painting and miscellaneous trim and electrical additions.
The completed cost of the project installed by Hladky Construction, Inc. is $68,991.07. The project was funded from the Account 001-10-04-419-70-47210. |
