SUBJECT:
Council Consideration of a Professional Services Agreement for Construction Management Services Associated with the 2019 Water Main Replacement Project, with KLJ, in the Amount of $224,200.00 (1% Project).
BACKGROUND:

This contract will consist of project oversight and inspection services for the 2019 Water Main Replacement Project.  This project consists of installing approximately 4400 LF of water main replacement in the following areas:

1.  10th Street from Rohan Avenue to 4J Road.

2.  11th Street from Richards Avenue to Dalbey Avenue.

3.  11th Street from 4J Road to west end of Cul-de-sac.

4.  Dalbey Avenue from 10th Street to 12th Street.

5.  Hog Eye Drive from Turkey Track Lane to Wagonhammer Lane.

6.  8th Street from Stocktrail Avenue to Tyler Avenue.

7.  Tyler Avenue from 8th Street to 6th Street.

8.  Frontier Drive from Lodahl Avenue to Cascade Drive.
ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET:
The cost for this construction management professional service contract is $224,200.00 which is 11.3% of the construction cost of $1,983,230.95.  The contract will be funded from the 1% Optional Sales Tax Fund #201-10-05-419-70-47410 which has $3,400,000.00 budgeted for this project.

I move for Approval of a Professional Services Agreement for Construction Management Services Associated with the 2019 Water Main Replacement Project, with KLJ, in the Amount of $224,200.00 (1% Project).
