| Council Consideration of a Resolution Authorizing the Mayor to Sign the Wyoming Water Development Commission (WWDC) Project Agreement, on Behalf of the City of Gillette, to Fund the Gillette Regional Extensions - Phase IV Project. |
| BACKGROUND: |
The Phase IV Project will serve two additional districts in the Designated Service Area: Fox Ridge Improvement and Service District (ISD) and Rozet Ranchettes. Funding under this agreement will be used for the design, right-of-way acquisition, construction, and construction administration for these new connections to the regional system.
Utilities staff will be soliciting Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for Engineering Design Services for this project in the near future. Recommendations for a Professional Services Agreement will be made in upcoming City Council meetings. |
| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
The Phase IV Budget is $2,257,000.00. The WWDC Grant will cover 67% of this total budget amount, or $1,512,190.00. Cap tax revenue for the District Extensions portion will cover the remaining 33%, or $744,810.00. The Phase IV project has been budgeted with this account line item:
