| Council Consideration of a Professional Services Agreement for Construction Management Associated with the Water Tank Rehabilitation (Z1-R2) Project, with Morrison Maierle, Inc., in the Amount of $69,698.00 (1% Project). |
| BACKGROUND: |
| This contract will consist of project oversight and inspection services of the Water Tank Rehabilitation (Z1-R2) Project 19EN12 consisting of the rehabilitation of the exterior and interior surfaces of the Z1-R2 water tank, repainting said surfaces, and the installation of access stairs and railing to the top of the tank. |
| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
| The cost of this construction management professional service contract is $69,698.00, which is 7.8% of the construction cost of $889,750.00. The contract will be funded from the 1% Optional Sales Tax Account #201-10-05-419-70-47413, which has $900,000.00 budgeted for this project. With this project coming in higher than the budgeted amount, savings from other projects recently bid will offset the additional funds. |
