A Public Hearing Related to the Submission of an Application to the Wyoming Business Council for a Retrofit Lighting Grant Under the Local Government Energy Improvement Grant Program for the Governing Body of the City of Gillette, Wyoming, for the Purpose of a City of Gillette Roadway Lighting LED Upgrades Project. |
BACKGROUND: |
In an effort to secure additional funding sources, staff supports the City of Gillette to submit a grant application to the Wyoming Business Council for the Local Government Energy Improvement Grant Program for the Purpose of a City of Gillette Roadway Lighting LED Upgrades Project. A full copy of the City of Gillette's grant application will be available for review in the City's Finance Department after July 1st. |
ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
The grant request will be the maximum amount of $25,000. The City of Gillette will provide a local match of $25,000 from the General Fund. |
SUGGESTED MOTION: |
No Action for Public Hearings. |
