SUBJECT:
Council Consideration to Amend the Street Closure Time for the Previously Approved 4th of July Parade Permit, to 9:00 A.M., Requested by Campbell County Parks & Recreation.
BACKGROUND:

WYDOT approved the closure of Hwy 14-16 beginning at 9:00 a.m. Campbell County Parks & Recreation is requesting to close the parade route at 9:00 a.m. to allow better preparation for the parade. The parade start time will remain at 10:00 a.m.

Per Darla Cotton, Event Coordinator, WYDOT also approved the closure of the north lane of Hwy 14-16 from Osborne Avenue to 4-J, beginning at 7:00 a.m. on July 4th. The lane closure will provide a safer environment prior to the parade. All traffic on 1st Street from 6:00 a.m. to noon will be one-way traffic from west to east, with the entry point at Burma and 1st Street.
