Council Consideration of a Parade Permit on Highway 14/16 from 4-J Road to Osborne Avenue, November 11, 2019, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., for a Veteran's Day Parade, Requested by Kerwin Burton.
BACKGROUND:

The Veteran's Day Parade will follow the same route as previous years, traveling east on Hwy 14/16 from 4-J Road to Osborne Avenue. The line-up will take place on 4-J Road between 2nd and 1st Streets.

 

The Veterans Day Parade Committee is requesting the following from the City:

1. Barricades along the parade route in place by 12:30 p.m.

2. Snow removal (if applicable) by 12:30 p.m.

3. 2nd Street closed from 4-J to Osborne by 12:30 p.m.

4. Police escort of the parade

5. On duty police awareness of the parade

6. GPA Video taping of the parade

7. GPA parade announcement

8. Parade announcement in utility bills
