Council previously approved entry into the cooperative agreement that established the Campbell County Adult Diversion Court. In order to measure the effectiveness of this Court, the parties to the cooperative agreement propose this Data Sharing Agreement.

In general, the agreement requires parties to aggregate certain data (without personally identifying information) and provide it to the other parties to the agreement. The extent of the City's obligations can be found in Section 4(B), 5(C), 6, and 7. This burden will be borne by GPD.

The aggregated data provided will include the items including, but not limited to, the total number of police dispatch calls for a given month, which of those calls involve a suspected mental illness, which calls result in diversion to the adult treatment court vs. criminal prosecution.
