Council Consideration of Appointment of No More than Three Members of the Governing Body to the Campbell County Public Land Board Joint Powers Agreement Funding Allocation Committee.
BACKGROUND:

Article VI of the Campbell County Public Land Board Joint Powers Agreement ("JPA") requires representatives of the City of Gillette and Campbell county to meet in January of every even numbered year.  The purpose of this meeting is to review Article VII (Financing) of the JPA and either establish a new formula for financing, or agree to continue the pre-existing formula for the succeeding two year period.

 

The purpose of the the "Campbell County Public Land Board Joint Powers Agreement Funding Allocation Committee" is to comply with Article VI of the Land Board JPA.

 

On December 12, 2023, the City of Gillette submitted a letter to Campbell County requesting the meeting referenced in Article VI of the JPA  in January 2024.

I move to Appoint the following members of the Governing Body (no more than three members) to the Campbell County Public Land Board Joint Powers Agreement Funding Allocation Committee.
