| Council Consideration of a Bid Award for One (1) New 10' - 11' Class All Out Front Type Deck, 4-Wheel Drive Mower and Deck to Midland Equipment Co., Inc., of Billings, Montana, in the Amount of $62,420.00. |
| BACKGROUND: |
| This is a replacement for Unit 185, which is a 1997 John Deere 5100M Tractor with loader that is a Vehicle Maintenance rental asset. This unit was carried over for replacement because of low usage for two fiscal years in succession. The mowing plan for FY20 requires another large area mower to execute the Parks division mowing plan. |
| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
Current budgeted amount for this mower is $56,118.00. The remaining amount will come from Unit 185 when it is auctioned in mid-June, with a projected revenue of $20,000. This revenue will more than offset the budgeted amount for the replacement of the tractor. |
