| Council Consideration for the Acceptance of Public Improvements for the Gillette Madison Pipeline Project, Contract 8, Installed by COP Wyoming, in the Amount of $7,099,574.24. |
| BACKGROUND: |
This project included the installation of 31,615 lf of 18" PVC transmission line and appurtenances for the purpose of delivering water produced and treated from the City of Gillette's Fort Union and Fox Hills wells to the blending facility located near the WYODAK power plant.
Burns & McDonnell Engineering Co. provided services to perform all necessary bidding, construction administration, inspection, materials testing, and other construction phase services directly related to construction for this project. They provided the attached recommendation for award. |
| ACTUAL COST VS. BUDGET: |
The original contract amount for this project was $6,975,990.00. There were three change order for a net added cost to the project of $123,584.24. Below is a summary of these change orders:
